How to Pursue Passion, Purpose and Profits for Entrepreneurs and Brands

Updated: Oct 10, 2019

When you think about the entrepreneurs, bloggers and brands you love, what comes to mind? Do you immediately think of passion, drive and excitement? That's what I think about when I think of Rachel Hollis, Ashley Renne, and the Apple brand.

Whether you are building a personal or a business brand, there is no denying the power of story telling. Each and every story that captivates us involves a hero or heroine overcoming something painful. It is powerful when your faith inspires you to turn pain into purpose to pursue people too.

It isn't pursuing people that want solutions to the problems you may solve because of your purpose. As a result, they want your help. As I walked through my own transformation story of a lifetime, I recognized the power of vulnerability and authenticity.

You become unstoppable when you pursue passion, purpose, and profits. What if you started combining what you love, what you've overcome, your gifts and talents, and how you serve? Imagine Passion + Purpose = Profits for you and your business.

How to Pursue Passion, Purpose and Profits

Pursuing passion, purpose and profits is an art and a science. It's combining the art of story telling with content, media, and your solutions. To start sharing what you and your brand love, list the top 5-10 things you love. The things you overcome in life and business help lead you to your purpose.

Once you identify your purpose, the path to your profits becomes easier. Knowing your purpose helps you get clear on the people you serve. The path to profits unfolds like a road trip from your story to your content, freebies, and solutions.

Depending on the time, location and financial freedom you want, you may set up your online and live solutions to match what works for you and your brand. How do you want to share what you love? What types of content do you love to create? How will you create value with your freebies online? What could you do to easily transition from your media to your freebies to online and live solutions?

I get how you feel in every way.

Pursue Passion, Purpose and Profits

No matter whether you are creating a personal or a business brand, sharing what you love, what you've overcome will help you stand out in every way. It will help you on your path to profits with relatability and authenticity.

Great ideas for wellness entrepreneurs sharing your before and after stories includes workouts and recipes. Travel bloggers and brands may share how to create content. Influencer marketing gurus may share media kits, platforms and courses. Lifestyle entrepreneurs may share behind the scenes on overcoming struggles with strategy, lifestyle and money. This is only the tip of the iceberg.

A great place to start is list out 3 to 10 things you love that will help your community as well. The next step might involve brainstorming what you may share about what you have overcome. I've got some great examples with our Creation Club lifestyle transformation mastermind and the free #14daychallenge. You and your team may want to outline a list of freebies you may create too.

I challenge myself all the time on how to pursue passion, purpose and profits. This helps me and those in our community share their stories, create freebies, and online courses to start. I love blowing up people's brains and casting vision. The possibilities are limitless. You may expand with live events and retreats to create community and much more.

Pursue Passion

Pursuing passion involves sharing what you love all the time personally and how that relates to your people and profits. This creates authentic connection and relatability and does't come across as salesy. Creating content like a boss will help you too.

As you and your team explore what you love, think of areas in lifestyle, travel, and wellness to start. You'll get more insights on social media and how to create content like a boss on our lifestyle transformation platform too.

From Passion to Purpose

Exploring your story helps you communicate what you have overcome. As you practice communicating what you have overcome, it helps you connect directly with the people you may help.

For example, we help people who want all in one lifestyle transformation, bloggers and entrepreneurs that want to monetize their message, and brands that want to create a lifestyle and media platform.

Consider what you've overcome and what problems you help solve for people. The next step involves thinking about where your people hang out so you may connect with them. Here are some great examples of connecting with people online. These may include social media, blogs and podcasts to start.

Great ways to connect in person with your community is coworking spaces, live events, and transformation and wellness retreats too.

Turning Purpose to Profits

When you share what you love and what you have overcome, it doesn't feel like selling. That's because it isn't. It's sharing pain you turned into purpose to help people. It is important to share freely first via channels like social media, blogs and podcasts.

From the foundation of your brand, you then lead into an invitation for freebies. This offers more value and creates a deeper relationship with people. These are people who want to connect with you more. As you create community, you may offer online courses, events, and retreats to start. Keep in mind by showing up involves showing up for your existing and future community.

It's learning that when you don't show up you miss a chance to create community and serve others. A great way to expand what you offer from freebies is to offer courses and events that are less than a $100 like ours to start. Keep in mind your profitability on any course or event you offer. A great profit margin to focus on is 60% and above.

Focus on creating a community that you serve exponentially at every level. This way you have nothing to apologize for as your business grows to four, five, six, and seven figures step by step.

Each and every one of our solutions online and live includes tips, tools and tech with health, wealth, and business.

Our Purpose to Profit Plan:

1) Outline social media posts

2) Share Posts Like This One

3) Podcast Features

5) Advanced Courses

6) Events & Retreats

There was a time where I felt fear and like I had to apologize for creating courses, events and community. I don't anymore. I choose to share value and get better and better in every way.

If I did it, so can you.

Pursue Passion, Purpose and Profits

The pursuit of passion, purpose, people and profits is not for everyone. There is a great chance it is for you if you are reading this. Some people are born entrepreneurs and some are created. There are people that choose to be employees and that is ok!

Every single time I create content, courses and community, I focus on passion and purpose first. Keeping service at the forefront is important. It is easy to get lost in people and profits.

Take the actions to walk towards pursing passion, purpose and profits.

Create. Transform. Inspire.

You Were Born to.
