Tulum, Mexico: My Second Month in 2021
It is amazing how different 2021 is especially when compared to 2020 for my life in so many ways. I started off 2021 with sharing One Week: Creating a Life and Business in each country I am visiting on my travel to 7 Continents. Instead, I decided to start sharing a monthly series on Creating and Adventuring.
The last six months have passed by in the blink of an eye. At the same time, there is so much life in each week and month. To give you insight, I am sharing highlights from the month of June 2021.
I will share summary highlights and insights of creating and adventuring in Tulum, Mexico, This month led to increased focus and discipline in business and finances with community, creators and creatives. I intensified my focus on an 80/20 approach.
My adventures in Tulum, Mexico in June 2021 included Mystika Museum, Coba Ruins, Choo Ha Cenote, Ven a La Luz, Playa del Carmen, Aloft Rooftop, and Foodie Favorites!

My Routines: Morning, Daily and Weekly
No matter where you are in the world, how you start your day is powerful in every way.
My Sacred 7 Morning and Night Routines with I Am's, Prayer, Positive Music, Bible Reading, Message, Journaling, and Movement sets me up for success.
My daily routine includes shake, tea and tabs with Herbalife Global Nutrition for 7+ years and counting. I lost over 55+ lbs and chose to be alcohol free 5+ years ago. I compete in fitness shows in National Physique Committee Bikini.
'Disclaimer: Average person loses .5 to 1 lb. a week with healthy active lifestyle.
Every week, I outline my week and days, and continue to align actions to my vision.
Every week, things shift depending on faith, feeling and focus.
I outline my Create 7 to help me align actions. Create 7 includes launches, community, scale, clear, media, series, and projects. I practice self-accountability with tools and teams like Click-Up, Focus Matrix, and virtual assistant services. I am in mentorship and coaching currently with Herbalife Nutrition, Super Focus with Tommy Newberry, and Legacy League with Mike Michalowicz.
All along the way, I envision and assess results in community, creators, and creatives.
I am creating a life, business and community I love. I am receiving $3,000 - $25,000 daily-weekly-monthly easily for wellness, media, online & travel God willing with incredible community consistently in May. I am DAP, Supervisor and World Team with Herbalife in May.
This is my focus until I hit it not only once but consistent 3+ months. I will adjust after the third month of consistency to align to annual and legacy goals.
Top Three Priorities

This month I joined both a fitness challenge with Paige Hathaway, and a wealth challenge with Eric Worre.
Community includes brands, communities, and business to business proposals.
In the month of June, I submitted over 40 pitches for ongoing wellness, marketing, business and travel. This included project with Matador Network, Workaway, SafetyWings, Outsite, and Remote Year to name a few.
The team with Efficise VAs outreached weekly to monthly to Fortune 500 contacts in HR and Marketing, Travel Bureaus, Influencer, and Freelancing Platforms as well.
Wins included project coming up in Bacalar, Bio Spa Clinique in Tulum, and press releases on over 4 platforms to name a few!
Progress included intensifying focus with an 80/20 approach with pitches and calls over 40 to 60% of each day.
Creators includes interactions, launches and collaborations with creators who are coaches, bloggers, social media gurus, and content and/or course creators.
In the month of June, this included launching the CREATEIT Summit again with increasing students, listing campaigns on 3+ platforms, and simplifying collaborations.
Creatives includes 9 to 5 ers , side hustlers, and those that want to increase travel.
In the month of June, I published over 8 blogs, over 30 Instagram Reels, over 10 videos, over 5 shows, and worked on my book.
I increased simplifying content execution and decreased time I spend. I focused more time at coworking spaces increasing focus and productivity.

As of July 2021, these all include no minimums, beautiful outdoor spaces, and fast WiFi.
In the beginning to about mid June, it rained quite a bit so I spent time working and visiting coworking spaces for the most part. Towards the end of a full week of non stop rain, I decided I would explore some. I definitely started to feel cabin fever from being in the house mostly!
On one of the last rainy days in June, I visited Mystika Museum.
The rest of the month, I more than caught up on adventures!
If you didn't know already, biking around Tulum is the BEST way to get around from spot to spot!
Another way is Collectivos - usually about $1 to $2 USD per ride!
I found Taxis to be excessively expensive no matter the options in Tulum. There are no Ubers as of July 2021 in Tulum.

A transformational experience and museum sharing Pepe Soho's story interactively. I took a Collectivo here and back from the center of town for $2 USD total.
Coba Ruins are about 40 minutes outside of Tulum, It is a larger ruin site than in Tulum and includes beautiful Cenotes nearby. I took a Ado Bus to Coba for $2 USD.

Choo Ha Cenote
Within less than 5 miles of Coba Ruins, are three beautiful Cenotes. In June 2021, I visited Choo Ha. I think you will agree it is breathtaking and off the beaten path! After getting to Coba, I rented a bike for $5 USD to ride to the Cenote.

Ven A La Laz
This statue crafted by Daniel Hopper, a South African artist and team became a permanent installation in 2018-2019. It is one of those did you even visit Tulum fixtures now. It is definitely one of the Top Photoworthy and Instagram worthy shots in Tulum.
I biked here for free! I have bikes at my cabana!
Playa del Carmen
I don't know about you friend, but I prefer calmness and quietness. As a result, Playa del Carmen is not somewhere I wanted to stay long term. I do love the sound of the ocean and a great day trip! I took a Ado Bus here for $5 USD each way.
The beautiful church in the center of town, Fundadores Monument, 5th Avenue, and the Beach make for a great day trip in Mexico.
Tulum has many foodie spots for you to love! Some of my favorites include Rincon Chiapaneco for Mexican authentic food and juice liters with great prices,, and taco stands near the center of town walking towards Chedraui on the main road with each taco less than $1 USD!
