In 2025, the creator economy is thriving, and securing high-paying brand deals is no longer just about posting content as a creator—it's about positioning yourself as a business.

Whether you're a content creator, influencer, or entrepreneur, writing a standout brand proposal is essential to landing long-term partnerships and high-ticket collaborations.

I’ve worked with brands like Google, Amazon, Expedia, and Airbnb and have secured ongoing contracts ranging from 3 to 12+ months by perfecting my proposal process. I’m giving you a behind-the-scenes preview of my EXACT brand proposal that I submitted for $1.8M to a U.S. Tourism Bureau (still pending!) and the $25K brand proposal I sent to Bali Agent, which I won and experienced 3+ villas!

In this guide, I’ll walk you through my proven steps to crafting a proposal that gets brands to say YES.

Plus, you’ll get an inside look at my Brand Proposal Template in HoneyBook—included in my Creator Templates Bundle, along with 10+ other templates in ClickUp, Notion, and Canva.

Why You Need a Strong Brand Proposal in 2025

With brands investing more in long-term creator partnerships, having a structured, strategic proposal sets you apart from the competition.

When I pitch to brands I include short, engaging, and focused emails. Once we have agreed to move forward with a brand deal, the brand proposal comes into play after 2-4 emails on average.

Brand Proposals with Contracts:

Positions you as a business – showcasing your professionalism and strategy

Clarifies deliverables & ROI – brands want measurable results

Helps you land higher-paying deals – by proving your value upfront

Sets the stage for long-term partnerships – ongoing collaborations over one-off posts

Essential Elements of a Winning Brand Proposal

Your proposal should be strategic, results-driven, and clear.

Here’s what to include:

🔹 Introduction & Hook

Make it personal. Research the brand and show why you're the perfect match.

Example: “I’ve been a loyal fan of [Brand Name] for years, and I love how your mission aligns with my audience’s interests.”

🔹 Brand Alignment & Audience Insights

Explain how your content, niche, and audience align with the brand’s goals.

Use engagement rates, demographics, and case studies to back it up.

🔹 Deliverables & Content Plan

Outline exactly what you’ll provide (e.g., Instagram posts, Reels, YouTube videos, blog features, email campaigns, etc.). Brands love seeing a clear, strategic content roadmap.

🔹 Project Timeline & Execution

Break down the timeline of deliverables so brands understand when to expect content. For long-term deals, offer a 3-12 month roadmap.

🔹 Pricing & ROI Breakdown

Show the brand what they’ll get in return. Highlight past successful collaborations, engagement rates, and conversions to prove your value.

🔹 Call-to-Action (CTA)

End with a clear next step—whether it’s scheduling a call, signing a contract, or discussing details.

💡 Pro Tip: My HoneyBook Brand Proposal Template includes ALL of these sections and is available in my Creator Templates Bundle!

Real-Life Examples: My $1.8M & $25K Proposals

To help you see how this works in action, I’m sharing two real-life proposals I submitted:

📌 $1.8M Tourism Bureau Proposal (Pending!)

I created a detailed brand proposal for creators for a U.S. Tourism Bureau with a team-based agency approach, including travel content creation, influencer partnerships, blog campaigns, and video storytelling for a year-long project.

📌 $25K Bali Agent Proposal (WON! 🙌) I pitched luxury villa experiences in Bali and won a contract to create content for 3+ villas by showcasing my expertise in travel content marketing and influencer campaigns.

Common Mistakes to Avoid in Brand Proposals

Vague Pricing – Always include a clear breakdown of your fees and deliverables.

No Customization – Copy-paste proposals won’t work! Tailor each pitch to the brand’s needs.

Not Showcasing ROI – Brands care about metrics, so include data-driven proof of results

Lack of a Call-to-Action – Guide the brand to the next step instead of waiting for them to decide.
