Fitting in Fitness

I won't fool you. Fitting fitness into a financial and business world didn't happen overnight. It was over 10 years of ups and downs. Similar to a stock market, lol before I finally "got it".

I have often been compared to a pit bull. I bite and hang on until I get it. I focused on the daily actions in gratitude until finally, finally the results not only arrived, but amazed me.

I get many questions like:

1) What were some of the things you tried?

2) How I managed to transform my life and lose >40 lbs.?

3) How I continue to manage to keep the weight off?

4) How I manage to do it while building my mind and my brand?

5) How in the world do you do it traveling the world?

6) What does a day of your food look like?

7) What tools do you use?

Let's start with #1 and #2 here. So what are some of the things I tried?

Well, a better question might be what didn't I try?

I literally TRIED everything. I tried slim fast, I tried use "this" and lose all the weight you want in 30 days or less. I tried juicing. I tried going vegetarian. I even did liposuction (it hurt like HELL in 2004), and NO the fat did NOT stay off.

YUP. I gained it ALL back and then some.

Why? Because there is no magic pill or surgery that SAFELY takes off all your weight.

I did century events. I did half marathons. I had >5 personal trainers.

I LITERALLY tried everything EXCEPT for doing what is simple.

Yet what is simple to do, is also simple NOT to do.

Until 2013 when I found Herbalife, or Herbalife found me, I never focused on adjusting step by step by habits and building up to the transformation I wanted.

The magic is in consistency, commitment, and coachability.

This then leads me to #2.

I started on Herbalife (#1 Global Nutritional Brand (Supplements, Skin Care, Hair Care, Athletic Line) in 2013, and within two months, 15 lbs. FELL off. I wasn't even paying attention. I didn't realize at the time, but I wasn't eating enough. Yes, you read that right. I was eating 2-3 times a day, and I wasn't eating the right "mix" of foods. This means, proteins, carbs, and healthy fats. This then led to deciding to compete in an Olympic Distance Triathlon that summer, which was when I was also faced with the illness of one of my best friends, Janelle all at the same time.

So, where would I recommend you start before I share more of the story, start with a giveaway like the healthy grocery list and start to detox your home.

That is where I started before Herbalife came to me. I started removing things from my home, and I stopped buying things that did NOT match what I wanted. Simple. Start SMALL.

Small steps equal massive momentum.
